First Day At Pimpin Siswa Camp 7 August 2009
Today, all students of the fourth siri to go this camp have to gather at padang kawad for taking attendent before we go in the bus. As one of the leader of the bus, I responsible to take the attendent of the people in bus B. After the section of taking attendent end, members of corresponding bus get up their own bus and head to their destination. My camp site is d'RISA which is located at Grik in Perak state. Journey to there is about two hours. Our camp is actually situated at hills and the weather here is very cooling. At here , all our personal items have to be hand over to the facilitator because to ensure their safety. First activity at there is to set up our tent by ourselve without the guidance from anyone. Setting up the tent is one of problem because I never do it before. Therefore, this a new experience for me. Athought it take me a lot of time to complete this task, finally we manage to set up the tent by ourself. The next thing we do is to attend a motivation talk which is about sustainability from different aspect. Then we have some ice-breaking games which allow us to know some friends. At , I with my friends have to join the patrol team to make sure the safety of other. It is a very tiring day.
Second day at Pimpin Siswa Camp
We have to wake up early today to have some fun games. First activity for today is walkrobic. It is a very exciting exercise which involve a lot of movements. All the movements is carried out according to the music played. After that, we have some thrilling games which needed teamwork. Through all this games, we all realize that cooperation from each members in a group is very important to complete a task. At afternoon, we all are given a talk about one Malaysia. One Malaysia is about unity of all citizens in Malaysia in order to achieve vision 2020.
The next activity is all of the group are given a picture and we have to give our idea what is the picture trying to tell us. Later then we have to present it in the form of performance. Our group present our idea in the form of a sketch. At midnight, we go for jungle trekking. It is a great experience for me. The jungle is very dark, fortunately there is weak light from the moon which help us to see clearly the path we are walking. The scenery at there is very beautiful especially when we reach a grass land for cow farm. Trekking the forest at night already a tough mission, rain come add to the toughness of this task. The rain make the trekking path become very slippery. After 2 hours trekking the forest, we finally complete the task.
Third Day at Pimpin Siswa Camp
Today is the last day of the camp. A little bit happy but also very unwilling to go back because of the fun moment at here. At morning , as usual we have walkrobic and then we are told to pack up our belongings because we are heading back at the afternoon. But firstly we have to fold up the tent that we have set up for the last two days and clean the tent before keep it back inside the beg. Finally, the moment we waited come, is the time for us to go back our campus. Before we heading back, we have a photo section with our camp commender as well as all the facilitator.
